Apply Vintage Texture T-Shirt Color Separation
How to apply a vintage distress texture to a finished t-shirt color separation done within Photoshop. Also how to add the texture to the white underbase somewhat differently to provide the optimum results on press. This is the most accurate method of doing so within a t-shirt screen printing environment.
Please note that intensifying an effect using curves or levels within Photoshop does NOT work on texture images converted to bitmap or any image that was in bitmap mode and converted back to grayscale or RGB. Once an image such as a distress pattern or texture is converted to bitmap and saved, all the grayscale data is GONE and is now a black and white graphic, regardless of changing the mode back again.
UltraSeps v2 is the #1 color separation program in use today by the t-shirt screen printing industry, used by countless thousands of screen printers, artists and color separators worldwide. http://www.ultraseps.com
