Like the commentary.. I use sepstudio but have really liked the results and control I have pulling colors and separating manually – takes me a little more time as I create actions and so forth (which I'm working on as I go) but the results are worth it and I have more control – That said depending on the job I may still resort to the program. I just finished the trial of separation studio and it wasn’t for me.
I have been using T Seps for years and love it. If you are comfortable working it photoshop T seps will be really easy to pick up and you have a lot of control of the different channels. I think T seps has a free trial you should give it a shot.
Thanks for all the videos! Always fun and informational.

Hey Cam, for separation studio you have to make some adjustments on your artwork. Bump up the contrasts and saturate your colors sometimes just to get your desired results. It will all depend on your art. Then when you're in seps studio you can tweak it a bit more. Hit me up if you're intrested in some tips with your artwork. Bigjgraphics956@gmail.com

From my experience with Sep Studio, it takes some adjusting in the base, colors and especially the highlight white. If you right click and select film, you some times can see colors, like white in lets say what should be a bright red font, that you have to pull like 5% white out of. Using your mouse you can scroll over those areas and see what shouldn't be there, or what needs to be bumped up… hard to explain with a comment… I think this require a vid…

thank you for the great videos. I personally have learned a lot from them. I tried Sep Studios awhile back. I was not a fan plus the price tag was too much for me. I have a very small family run screen print business in Maine. I use Coreldraw2017 along with advanced tshirts plugins to do all my seps and photo adjustments, The prices aren't too bad and the product is amazing. Keep up the great work

I have a question. Why don't you tape off a lot of the screen area so you save time with clean up?

  17. Hi, I’m having real problems and wondered if you could lend some advice please? Every time I flood the screen, even without pressing down, the ink comes through the other side and bulges so when I place the screen screen down and print, the print comes out all fuzzy where the excess ink squeezes out on the edges? I’ve tried thickening up the ink but it doesn’t look runnier than yours? Is my actual screen not thick enough? Please help! 🙂

Hi, I use Illustrator and Photoshop for my arwork. I do colorsep´s in Photoshop an print my films without RIP-software.
My printer is an Epson Shurecolor P800 loaded with Marrut-ink, an ink contaning UV-blocker.
As I understand, the US-version of my printer has another firmware than the ones sold in Europe, so it´s a bit more difficult to use refillable cartridges on them.

Oh, btw, I´m living i Sweden and I have been working as an professional screenprinter for almost 40 years now.

Thank´s for your great Youtubechannel Bro!
